What is the level of support for IE11?

The Blackbaud development teams for BBNC/BBIS proactively identifes any possible front end issues (e.g. donation/event pages) with major browsers and pre release versions of Internet Explorer. We maintain vigilance on these front end issues and will address them at all times.

For example, we recently identified some environmental challenges that manifested in front end issues for IE11 and have fixed that for our hosted customers and recommend that on-premise customers update their servers for IE compatibility too.

We fully expect Internet Explorer 11 to be fully working well for your donors during this online giving season. Full, end to end support of both front end and admin mode of BBNC/BBIS comes only with a lot of additional efforts and has to arrive with our shipped releases which is BBNC 6.58 due out in early February.

Rest assured, we work tirelessly to ensure that your donors/constituents will not experience issues with newer versions of IE as they are released which is becoming more frequent and automatic in browser release cycles. While it may take longer to ensure full back end application capability for BBNC/BBIS we're always striving to get ahead of front end issues.

Hello,

Thank you for this information. We are an on-premises customer. What do I need to tell my IT department to do to update our servers for IE compatibility? Our users with IE11 are experiencing some issues.
