Before I send a message, do I need to rerun the queries in my recipient list?

  • No, we’ll take care of that for you. If a list hasn't been updated in the past 10 minutes or more, we’ll refresh your list when you click Send message.
  • Refreshing my queries seem to take a lot longer than suggested. I have a query that was updated weeks ago, I was preparing to send an email last night and the query had not updated on Online Express, I have just logged in again this morning and it is still not showing the updated number of recipients. Is there someway to speed this up? It is rather frustrating.

    Hi Alice. You don't have to manually refresh queries. When you send a message, BBOX automatically refreshes the query as the message is being processed and sent. This way you will have the most up to date list as possible at the time the message is sent.

    At what point does OLX refresh the queries?  I scrambled to get a few emails into RE this morning; entering the first one somewhere around 9:40 and the last one at 10:57.  We had a message go out at 11:00.  I pushed the data over early (since I can refresh it later), and none of the emails I entered this morning got the appeal!  I just asked my co-worker who puts together and sends out our emails, and she said that while she usually schedules them the day before, today's was scheduled at about 9:30 to be sent at 11:00.  So does OLX refresh the queries when the message is scheduled, rather than when it is actually sent?

  • I believe it takes the data at the time you schedule it!
  • Can someone confirm this?
