Issue with Tribute Linking

Issue with Tribute Linking. Eg. IMO, anniversary, birthday donations. If the donor completes this field you see the information in Online Express, however we do not always wish to set up an Honour/ Memorial as it isn't always relevant. Further more if the Honour/ Memorial is not set up, the system automatically creates a new constituent and it could appear as In memory of Sam Smith as the name. Firstly we would never set up a constituent record for a deceased person, we would set up the Honour/ Memorial against a relative. Secondly we may not feel that the donation warrants it's own Honour/ Memorial e.g.we received a donation for someone's anniversary but the person celebrating organised a fundraising event so wishes for the donation to go against the income from their event, however it is impossible to change the tribute linking section of Online Express, Help!!
