Forwarding problems

Options
There is no "forward this email" option within the email, and when forwarding it manually, there seems to be a bug that cuts off much of the design. Can there be a button or hyperlink incorporated to forward, and/or can this bug be investigated and fixed?

Hi Elizabeth. Online Express does not have a "forward to a friend" feature. We did look into this feature, but we found that it's usage is very very low. Email recipients usually use the forward feature that is built into their email client before they use the link or button in the message itself.

That said, it is something we are keeping an eye on and could consider for the future.

As for formatting of forwarded messages - this isn't so much a bug, but a reality of email marketing. Basically, when a message is received, the email client uses the markup it needs to display the message. When it's then forwarded, only that markup is sent along, so a different email client will render the message differently because the markup it needs was stripped away by the first email client.

Matt, I understand this can be an email client issue, but we didn't have this kind of issues with MailChimp. The last email we sent out, when forwarded, shows all the text in white font, so it was basically not-visible. I am sure the original formatting of the email affects how email clients read and forward it, so it would be really appreciated if you look further into it and see if there is a way of avoiding some of those reformatting issues.
