How do you add an image to the confirmation email message?

Options
I want to be able to add a picture on my thank you email. I see where there is the ability to add a "link" to a webpage but am not sure how to add a picture that is not linked. Any suggestions?

This is a simple trick to do this. Go to any page on the Internet where the image you want to use is present. Right-click on the image and select "Copy image" in the pop-up menu.

Go into Online Express and just paste (Control+V) the image. This will place the image into the email confirmation message.

We are currently in discovery on improvements to the confirmation email editor that would allow first-class image tools.
  • What if there is not an image URL but it is a jpeg file on your computer. Can that be added to the email confirmation message?

No, today that image must be available somewhere on the web. You can certainly use services like tinypic.com to upload an image to the web.

    E-mail formatting - embedding a logo.

Is there a way to embed a logo into the e-mail that is being sent to donors thanking them for their gifts? I have viewed a number of e-mail formatting topics but cannot find one specific to this situation. When I attempt to cut and paste our campaign logo into the e-mail I have no success.

Hi Mark. I merged this topic with a similar topic to keep things tidy. The workaround that Steve suggested above should work in your situation.

That said, this is a feature we are looking to improve in the future. Currently we are exploring the possibility of allowing you to manage your image gallery in more places than just the email marketing area.

It is not currently possible to put a picture in a gift acknowledgement email. I'd like to be able to put one it at the top so the email fits in with the same style as our BBOX newsletter emails.

Hi Paul. We have the ability to add images to confirmation screens and emails in our backlog of improvements. For now though, there is a workaround.

I merged this post with the related thread, take a look!

Thanks. I didn't spot it, probably because I used the word "pictures".

You can copy and paste as the directions above outline. I use this method to include a jpg (or tiff) of our appropriate staff's signature in our thank you emails.
  • I would like to see the option to add photos directly from the WYSIWYG editor.

    Hello, all,

I'm trying to add an image to the confirmation screen (not the email-- the section that loads after a donation has been made). When I right-click to copy the image from a webpage and ctrl-v to place it in in the confirmation page, I do not see an image-- rather, I see the active URL that points to the image. I turned the merchant account to "test" and sent myself an email just to confirm and, sure enough, all I see is an active link to the image. Is this method only possible in the confirmation email?

    Thanks in advance :)

This post was from 2014, is there any update to this issue? Our staff digital signatures are not readily available on the internet.
