Custom Text Color within a Section

Options
I am trying to create a custom color in an email template and the RGB will not hold the numbers I enter and it won't allow be to enter the "#" at all. It is fine when I am on the style tab and want to change an entire section, but I just want to have one word within a section have a custom color. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Hi Katey - Have you tried editing in the content tab instead of the style tab? You may have but just throwing this out there! Let us know if that isn't working.

  • It's the content tab I am having an issue with. It works great in the style tab. I can change the color if it is a standard color, but I run into trouble when I try to create a custom color to match our brand.

Hey Katey, I think I see what you mean, and it looks like it's a bug. When you try to enter a custom hex code or RGB value in the text editor of an email, the color doesn't apply or it doesn't let you type the color code. It looks like you can use the color picker to select a color with the mouse, so you can get close to your desired color that way.

I'll get this in front of the development team and we will take a look. Thanks for pointing this out!
