Increase in "Unsubscribe Processor" emails generated by Luminate Online?

Options
Good afternoon,

Wondering if others in community have seen an uptick in the number of "Unsubscribe Processor" emails auto-generated by Luminate. And if you know of any way to fix / reduce this occurance.

This happens when A constituent attempted to cancel their email subscription by selecting the unsubscribe link, but that link was corrupted for some reason. As a result, the Profile of this constitutent has not been updated to reflect the unsubscribe request.

I opened a support case, response was "Generally it will just happen randomly when the HTML is rendered... This can also happen if the receiving constituent has cookies disabled...The volume you are showing me in those screenshots doesn't look particularly alarming."

Any thoughts from community about reducing number of these? Not a great user experience obviously.

We use several organizational email addresses for our, but here is one of those inboxes, with the Unsubscribe Processor. Another account has even more.

  • Chiming in just in case it's helpful: We have not seen an uptick in these emails.

One thought - Do they correspond with an uptick in unsubscribes on your site in general? Or have you seen list growth recently?
  • More details about this issue is described in the following Knowledgebase article: 62481. These occrences should be rare compared to the amount of successful unsubscribes, but these are not completely avoidable.
