Issues logging in to Blackbaud.com

Options
I keep having issues logging in to Blackbaud.com. If I log out I have to keep delete my cookies to log back in, which is a pain. Is this an issue for everyone, or just little old me? The only answer when I call in seems to be...delete my cookies.



I can't log in as we speak, but I really don't want to delete my cookies, I just did that last week so I could log in.

    I previously had trouble using IE.  Have not had issues using Firefox.  Is trying a different browser an option for you?  BB has resolved the previous issues they had with Firefox post formats.
  • Ever since they changed things a few months back, I've never been able to log in using Chrome. I just stick to IE. I was told this was no longer a problem, but it didn't work last time I checked.

    I'm sorry to hear you're having issues. I understand that frustration of having to clear your cookies each time given it also affects other websites. I've reached out to our Product Development team to see when we prioritize this issue.



    For now though, I may have a way to at least make this process a little less painful if you are using Google Chrome. You should be able to directly delete your cookies right from the website itself as opposed to clearing everything from the rest of your browsing history. For example, if you are in Chrome you can click on the lock once you're on the sign in page and then delete your cookies just for that site (screenshots below). If you are in a different browser let me know and I'll see if there are easier steps, and to JoAnn's suggestion it may be good to see if a different browser gives you less trouble.

  • Occasionally, like yesterday, IE doesn't work with BB.com for me at all except to load the front page.  Firefox is the only other allowed broswer where I work, and it hates BB.com altogether and won't even do a thing.  This isn't 100% of the time, so it's quite frustrating.  Any ideas that it perhaps is my version of Java?



    My Java version is outdated by one or two so that it works better with RE.  Something in our network settings makes this have to be so, but then it affects all sorts of other things.



    Sigh.

    I've always used Chrome.  I finally sucked it up and deleted all of the cookies as James suggested, and have not had an issue since then - no problems logging in to blackbaud.com.

    Looks like we might have found a potential solution to this issue, and we are planning to release a code fix next week on Tuesday, July 14th. Please let us know if after next week you still encounter repeated issues around needing to delete your cookies.
