Dropped Memberships in RE:Mail Donor Acknowledgements

Options
I've been working with Blackbaud support on this, but for now there is no answer as to why an old dropped membership is included in my Batch Donor Acknowledgements. The donor acknowledgement letters print correctly for consituents with a single active membership.

Although this constituent has an active membership, I know it is the dropped membership that is pulled because the letter includes the membership expiration and dropped memberships have no expiration date. I have filtered on the current membership campaign but to no avail.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

  • I surmise that this is the result of a one-to-many problem that occurs lots of places in RE.

Since the letters are based on gifts you'd think that the letters would only pull memberships linked to that gift.

Are you basing the Acknowledgement Letters on a Constituent Query?

    John -

Yes, the input is a constituent query of the records in the batch.
