I would like to hear some results from ones who use ereceipts.  WE tried a couple of times and have had some errors with them.

    Hi, I use ereceipts for my monthly recurring credit card donations.  It works pretty well.  I had to work with my IT Department to get a static IP address on my computer so that the SMTP relay would work.  I don't understand that side of it but would be glad to help any way I can.

    Thanks JEnnt, i dont understand that side of it either!  We send out regular reciepts now but we are able to edit them before we print.  with ereceipts you cant see what you are sending out  before the send. is that correct?

    The way mine are set up, the letter comes up as a PDF and I believe that is what sent so you're correct - you can't edit them before hand.   Since my credit card donors get the same email essentially every month, ours are pretty generic.  I understand what you mean about editing because when I do the letters we print, I tweak them sometimes. 



    Are you thinking about doing all letters via email or only certain dollar amounts?  I actually created a few different ereceipt letters - one is from our Director of Development and another is from our Athletic Director.  I have different queries set up based on the letter codes and/or solicitor of which letter they get (just like the ones we print).
