Tribute for Organization in Net Community

I am able to add a tribute to organization records within Raisers Edge, but when I try to link them to gifts in NetCommunity, my only options are tributes for individuals, the organization with the tribute to be linked does not show up in the search, and I'm not able to add it (unless it's an individual constituent). Am I missing something? Tried to search the knowledgebase, but couldn't find anything.

In my experience, this is a Netcommunity glitch. Organization records cannot be linked as a tribute or a fundraising. I usually create it as an individual record then turn the record into an organization after the gift is downloaded.

Thanks, Krista, that's what I've been doing, but it's so much extra work. I was hoping someone knew a little secret trick that I didn't!
