Job Summary:                   

Under the direction of the NVP, Operations & Collaborative Services, the Information Management & Analytics Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day technical needs of the Resource Development national staff. This position will serve as the lead for creating database solutions and reporting for national staff.  It will also support and advise all biographical data entry, gift entry and administration coding for BGCA constituents and end users. The position will also develop and create solutions, workflows, queries, dashboards and analytical reports to support the needs of national staff and to improve staff efficiency and data quality control in Luminate CRM, Luminate Online and Donor Perfect.  Additionally, this position will provide software support and training.

 

Qualifications:        

 

Education:              

Bachelor’s degree or education/experience equivalency.

 

Experience:

Must possess highly developed experience in managing and building the architecture of development software and database systems such as Salesforce, Luminate, Common Ground or Raiser’s Edge. Expert in analyzing data, designing queries and reports using Microsoft Office Suite, Crystal Reports, Conga Composer or similar custom reporting applications.  Ability to develop, program and test database programs, plug-ins, applications and macros. Experience in creating and implementing business processes and support documentation. Experience providing one-on-one and group training and preparing technical or user manuals in support of training. Must possess knowledge of office management methods, project management and process design.

 

Skills:

Strong skill in technical, analytical and process writing that is clear and concise. The ability to deliver strategic messaging and information via e-communications and online. Must possess a high ethical standard, integrity and professional responsibility. Ability to prioritize large volumes of work and meet critical deadlines.  Advanced understanding of desktop computing equipment and ability to interact with technical staff (IT) and outside vendors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues across functional areas and in remote offices. Must be a proven problem solver, have exemplary customer service skills and possess experience in gap analysis.

 

Environmental and Working Conditions:

Normal internal office environment.        

 

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Must be highly self-motivated, comfortable performing multiple tasks and managing many short and long term projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. Must be able to provide excellent reasoning abilities, sound judgment and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Must possess the ability to work well and accurately with numbers and revenue reporting. Ability to excel in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment. Physical requirements include sight, hearing, sitting for more than four hours a day and other physical requirements required for a typical office based job.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring the database integrity and accuracy, including, overall configuration (workflows, uploads, exports, upgrades, imports and/or global changes to the database), gift administration (management of campaigns, segments, and designations and gift coding) and database administration (managing user profiles, troubleshooting database issues, creating objects, creating fields, API addresses and templates) within the database.
  • Will support and advise on gift administration reports including receipt generation, and production of gift logs to operations team and national staff. Directly responsible for creation/production and distribution of routine financial revenue reports, gift transaction reports and fundraiser activity reports. Responsible for drafting weekly financial highlights to President. Manage and review monthly projections with RD teams.
  • Conceptualize, analyze and provide solutions for database architecture around specific deliverables to local clubs.
  • Directly responsible for providing reporting needs of the Resource Development department. Prepare custom and system generated reports for Resource Development staff.Prepare custom queries, reports, dashboards and exports for use by National staff.
  • Provide technical support as well as identify, analyze, and implement solutions for technical data processing, reporting and work flow problems for national staff.
  • Provide ongoing training, including producing business processes and training documentation and materials to National Resource Development team.Manage and conduct training for new employee on boarding.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by the NVP, Operations & Collaborative Services.
