Constituent prefers email ONLY

Options

Hello all, we've been using RE for roughly eight weeks and much of it is still confusing, so forgive me if this is an obvious question: What do you do for constituents who prefer email ONLY (no snail mail).

I'm thinking that for such a common request these days, there must be a built-in option somewhere that I'm overlooking? Something similar to the "Requests no email" on Bio1?

Thank you and have a great day!

I have a solicit code on the person's record that says "Do Not Mail". When I'm working on a mailing, I remove anyone that has that solicit code on their record.

Ditto on using a solicit code (generally they are "No/Do not" statements.

In addition if you are still concerned about the person accidentally being sent something you could uncheck the box for 'send mail to this address' on the address record.  I would be sure somehow to note that is a valid address though.  But so you know, unchecking that box may, depending on your settings, drop the record from runs of acknowledgements/receipts as well.

Generally, the solicit code should be sufficient.

We use a solicit code of "Email Communications Only" and exclude them when pulling a list for snail mail.
