End of Year Statement for Spouses

Options

We recently converted to RE. Previously, all spouses shared one record.

Now, we have added records for spouses that have their own constituencies with us.

I sent out End of Year statements to the head of household, and so the gifts that were on the spouse record were not included.

 How do you handle this?

Thanks.

Are you sending a report from RE or creating your own?  If you are sending Reports > Financial Reports > Annual Statement Report you have two options.

    1. Run a report for each spouse

How are you using soft credits?  Are the spouses SC for gifts (at 100%)?  If so.

          2.  Run the report and change the options in the Soft Credit Gifts to... box to Soft Credit Recipients.  The report will then list all gifts the constituent made as well as those they have SC for.  This option won't work accurately if you have a broad definition of soft-crediting and SC for contacts made/soliciting/employeed by that company, etc.

If you are exporting the data info your own form need to approach a bit differently but still similar manner - if you're using SC as intended.
