Giving History Report for Multiple Donors

So I would like to run a report of giving history to include several members of a family as well as the businesses they are affiliated with - just wanting to know if you all have any work arounds for this other than creating a query.  Since we only have the ability to choose all records or one record then I assume the only way to accomplish this is to go in a query and individually choose each member.  Seems like there should be an easier way to do this - Is there any other way to choose multiple records?  If not this would be a GREAT add on don't you think?

    When I need  a small group of records or need to add or exclude from an existing query I just use a new constituent query or add to existing query criteria. Criteria: Constituent Information>Specific Record.  In pop up select 'one of' (or 'not one of'), Hit tab key to move to next field, F7 to bring up open constituent window.  Using tab and F7 keys it just takes a couple minutes to get a specific list of even over a dozen records.  Works well for me.

    Are you using Reports>Financial reports>constituent giving history?  I have the option to include specific records.  Having option there to select a group is essentially making a group/query.  Doesn't seem much easier than just doing the query to me.  [;)]

    Thanks so much - that helped a great deal.  I was not aware of the Specific Record option in the query - works MUCH better than the constituent name!!!

    While it may be a great add on - since query can do this very simply, I do not want Blackbaud spending their time on adding this feature when so many other more necessary features are needed. Simply create a query and have one criteria of specific record and choose one of and select all of the people you want. Or have one that is spectific record <ask> and anytime you use it you can choose one or several people to include.
