Constituent giving history - order by date

I am looking at the complete giving history of our board members' contacts, so I am using the constituent giving history report. My director would like to see the gifts in order of descending gift date - so the newest gifts at the top, rather than oldest at the top, which is how the report presents this information. Don't know of a way within the report to sort/change date order. 

Only suggestion would be to export to excel from the report preview.  Be lots of sorting then for each constituents gifts to change sort order.

Yes that's annoying, In the Gift Detail and Summary reports in the format tab, there's a Sort/Break category where you can specify multiple sort fields.  It's odd that it's not offered in the Constituent Giving History report.

Try using a Constituent Profile instead. You have the option to make the giving history ascending or descending.

Great suggestion.  Hadn't looked at constituent profile for a long time.  Will need to keep in mind for upcoming needs.  Love all the options for data to include.  (Its under Reports > Profiles, Lists... > Profile Contents > Giving History > ascending/descending is under Customize.)
