Gift table

I am trying to build a gift table and I would like to know how to populate the table by range when there are soft credits. I don't want to double count. Has anyone dealt with this situation? 

Are you refering to a donor catagory report?  Not sure what you exactly mean by 'gift table'. 

If you're choosing to credit gifts to donor only you won't get the soft credit recipients, but like you stated, if you include SC you will end up with inflated $ totals.

Do yoiu need to include SCs?  Do you have a lot of SC that you'd have to manually deal with? Are they spousal, individual/organizations or both?
