Calculating costs on appeal packages

Options

I'm using packages on an appeal record for the first time. I'm trying to get my report to show the cost of each package. So, in the appeal record, I wanted to figure out how to enter that information. In this case, the packages all cost the same per person. So, the overall cost of the mailing times the percentage to whom each package was sent (no. solicited) would result in an accurate cost breakdown.

Of course, I can do this math manually, but is there a way to make RE calculate it for me? We have the package no. solicited entered and the overall appeal cost & overall appeal no. solicited.

Unfortunately I do not think so. Under expenses on the appeal you are to manually fill in the costs by package. But have you been to the RE Discovery site where you can file this as an idea? I am not sure the idea should be that it should automatically assume the same cost per package but allow you to allocate with a click of a button IF they are the same.

Ok, thanks. Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking - it needs to be an option to apply when needed. I'm sure many times, package costs will vary.
