Exporting pledge date

Hello, I'm trying to pull some EOY numbers and want to look at gifts that were made between a certain date range, however when I pull this list it includes pledges that were paid off, and I do not want to include pledges that were made earlier in the year and then paid off during this date range. Is there a way to pull the pledge DATE in the export so I can sort and omit those gifts from my list? Thank you in advance! -Meredith

Are you doing an export from a report or the Export function?  If you are using the export function, you could add Gifts > Gift Date to your output.  I'd also output Gift Type so you can verify that it was a pledgeg. 

Clean up will be a bunch of manual busy wrok but I think you'd get the info you asked for.
