Export Gift Summary Receipt Amount

How do I export the Year To Date Receipt Amount Summary? I don't want the "total gift amount", I want the "Total Receipt Amount" per constituent. Unless I have been doing the process incorrectly. The receipt amount reflects the gift amount minus the benefit. When I send the receipt with their total giving to date, I can show total Gift Amount but not total Tax Deductible amount. Also, how can you, in the the "annual statement" show the benefits received? Thank you!

    Can you clarify, please.  Are you taking a constituent query to the Export function and exporting from there? Are you exporting from a report like Gift Detail & Summary?  In export function, I don't think there's an option for 'total receipt amount'. Receipt amount is available in a Gift Export but Summary is not. Sort of a hole in the field options.

    Yes, to me you are using rreceipt / benefit correctly.  Gift Detail & Summary report does have option for both fields and you can export to excel from that.  

    The canned annual statement does not have option for showing benefits. The "Constituent Giving History" does have options for a few more fields: gift amount/receipt amount/reference.  Honestly, we don't have many gifts involving benefits and I've never worried about specifying what the benefits were in an annual statement.  The specifics on the benefits, to me, are irrelevant to providing annual statement which donor is using for tax deduction documentation. My 2 cents...

    I personally do not think any of the canned reports are sufficient for the annual statements we do in January. I have therefore done an export and used that detail to create mine,

    When you enter the gifts with benefits - are you also splitting the gift and putting the contribution in one fund and the value of the benefits in some kind of non-gift fund? This is really recommended since accounting wise your finance office needs to treat the two parts differently - fund is the best way to distinguish this for them. If you were doing that and you excluded this "non-gift" fund from your gift summary - you should be able to get the same thing as a receipt amount summary.
