Gift Summary by Industry Report

I need to create a report which shows a summary of gifts broken down by Industry for a given timeframe. I have a query which lists individual gifts and their Industry however need to group this as a total by Industry. Any suggestions?

If you take your query to Reports > Pivot Reports that might get what you desire.  You may need to look at KB for help on creating pivot report. 

Depending on what info you want you could also take your query to Export function and export the data to excel.  Can sort/group/report using the excel file.

Just a couple thoughts.
