Best Way to Track Credit Lines and Public Recognition

Options
I am struggling with a way to keep track of ALL of our programs/events/spaces that need to include credit lines and/or logos for donors. Right now I inherited an excel spreadsheet that is updated yearly. Ideally, I would like all of the info to live in RE and be able to print a report or search for it. Any ideas?

What do you mean by credit lines?

I have heard of some places using the event module to track naming opportunities. I do not know all the details but it has either been discussed here in the forum in th past - use search - or it was discussed in the Blackbaud User Society at blackbus.org

How a donor should be credited for their contribution - i.e. for sponsoring an event, funding a specific program or an endowed fund. For individuals, we have a public recognition addressee that we use for general recognition (annual report, etc.). But the "credit line" might change depending on what they fund. And this is why I can't seem to wrap my head around an easy way to track it!

I have had some additional add/sals specific to some campaigns but I have not done them down to the specific gift level. If you do it down to the gift level why not use a gift attribute?
