Relation Gift records

I need help to list down gifts received from constituent's relationship.

We have a constituent who has various relationship recorded in RE.  Main cconstituent is one of our major donor and has made significant gifts to our various fundraising events and appeals. Few of his relationship, some family members, friends and business associates have also given some contribution to our organization.

I would like to take out a report/query for gifts received from relationship recorded for against main constituent.

We have also marked soft credit for his spouse but have not to his brothers, son, daughter, sister, mother, father, grand children or to his friends.

There maybe someway to do it more easily but what I would do is group the records you want the gifts for with a constituent query > Constituent > Specific Record > One of.....   List each of the relationship records you want to include.  This works fairly easy for a small group not able to be queried on any other way (Tab key and F7 made selecting records pretty easy).

Then take this query to a Report like Cash Receipts Journal, Constituent Giving History or Gift Detail & Summary.  For records to use,select this query.  Which report, to me just depends on what data you want: each gift, each person with their gifts, fund, gift date, payment details etc. 

Other option if you want data not in a canned report would be to take this query of records to Export and then chose whatever fields you want to export related to their giving.

I don't see soft credits becoming a factor based on what you described.  Sounds like you're using SC appropriately, to me.
