Hi Kim. The old Blackbaud NetCommunity forum is now in the Archived Forums area. You can view the conversations in the old forum but cannot add to it. Please visit the new BBNC community for any new discussions. Thanks!

Blackbaud is changing the current structure, in my opinion - not for the better. I hope it is not heading toward the mess that the Convio Community has - one forum for everything which is a mess. I am considering stemming my participation and sticking to the blackbus dot org website.

Not sure where everything is headed, but I agree that I like having everything in one place.

Nicole - are you saying you would prefer to have one giant RE forum and not have specific forums for specific topics?

I mean as opposed to having to look for answers on one site for BBNC (Community-powered support for Blackbaud NetCommunity) and another for RE (The Raiser's Edge Forum).  Doesn't seem like much, but if you use more than one BB product, especially if they integrate, it can be a lot of looking around (even when using the search bar) for answers. So say I want to look for discussions about processing BBNC gifts in batch, I have to look in 2 places.

(By the way, there isn't really a designated place for BBMS.)

This is all great feedback, thank you! Our ultimate goal is to get all our communities on one platform and set up those communities in a way that they can be successful. It's definitely not ideal to have communities spread out over a number of different sites. We're in the process of figuring out where to put all the communities and how to set them up. In the meantime, we're trying to simplify what we do have. Please do keep the feedback coming!

I can understand where looking more than one place can be frustrating.  As a user of only RE, not BBNC, I think I prefer they have separate areas for posts as I really have no knowledge of the differences in how the two softwares work and don't want to waste my time either by reading posts that apply to BBNC but not RE processing.  With them lumped together, many users will not specify which they are using and make it that much more difficult to post a helpful response.

    My 2 cents....
