Facebook connect to calendar?

Hi,

I'm in the midst of setting up a facebook app for the Levine School of Music.

Is there a way to connect my Convio calendar to facebook, so that events on my calendar automatically create new events in facebook?

    I think that would have to be a function of a facebook application. I don't think facebook has an external API where you can create events (though I am not 100% certain on that). I don't think the Convio Facebook application has a hook into events, but it is potentially doable. Convio also has an calendar event API, so something could probably be developed, but there is nothing there out of the box.

    Right now, the Convio Facebook Application will let you present event information inside your application. You could accomplish that by simply using the existing capability in PageBuilder or you could build something unique using the Events API.

    As for creating mirror events directly in Facebook, I just discovered that Facebook does have an Events API. It seems like it would allow you to create Facebook events remotely. This has not been integrated into Convio in any way, but it may be something you can do yourself using both the Convio Events API and Facebook's API.
