How does Facebook Connect related to eCRM records?

Options

I have enabled Facebook Connect but have a couple questions before we start using it. Apologies if these questions have been answered elsewhere--I looked through the other discussions and didn't find it.

1. How much profile information is pulled from Facebook and added to our eCRM file? Does it at least log activity by existing records logging in with FB instead?

2. We have security groups that limit some content to certain members. Does FB connect sync with these groups provided the email address is the same for both?

3. Can Facebook Connect be used to determine conditional content based on information in the FB profile?

  • Currently, the Facebook Connect integration only enables outbound communication. In essence, the constituent using the Facebook Connect Login and Share or Publish components are able to push stories with a link into Facebook, and the link is built by you, so you can track how many people are coming in from that link. However, we aren't pulling information from the constituent's Facebook profile into Constituent360, nor are we capturing an interaction for the story push.

The items that you mention below are things we want to enable with Facebook Connect, but they are not in place today.
