Editing Registration Question Responses in TeamRaiser

How does one turn this off?  I read the release notes forwarded by National, but didn't see how to turn this option off.

    From the Convio admin, edit the TeamRaiser and go to Step 3 (Select Event Options).  Under the Related Actions in the bottom left nav, click on Edit Advanced Options and go Step b (Define Event Options). Number 18 (Participants Can Edit Their Responses to Registration Questions) on that page allows you to turn this on/off.  Just uncheck "Yes, allow participants to edit their registration responses" and click on "Save".

    Does this only apply to the custom questoins or does this permit the participant to edit their registration transaction? Specifically, will this permit a user to edit/change/delete their own registration participant type?

    A participant is never able to edit/delete his/her own registration transaction, participation type, or even change participation type for that matter. The configuration to allow participants to edit their registration responses will only give them access to the custom/additional questions that are a part of their particular participation type.
