How and WHERE do you disable offline gifts in Team Raiser? We DO NOT want offline gifts added.

    Just so I'm clear, you don't want participants to be able to enter the amounts of checks or cash that they received through their participant centers to reflect in their "total raised" amount. Is this correct?

    I'll add a little insight from my days as a client, managing TeamRaiser events, that you may want to consider. 

     

    Offline gift recording by participants, through their Participant Center, is not an all-or-nothing proposition.  You can actually disable or enable offline gift entry by payment type.  When I was a client, we disabled all offline gift entry by participants except for credit/debit card gifts. That setting allowed participants to receive a gift in cash from a friend, log into their Participant Center, and pay for that gift on their own credit or debit card while entering in the friend's information as the donor.  Because the card is authorized through Convio, the gift is "Confirmed", so there's no additional work for an admin to go in and confirm that gift.

     

    Offline gift entry is controlled in the Advanced Event Options. Go to step 3 of event configuration, Select Event Options, and choose Edit Advanced Options from the Related Actions menu.  The settings that control the offline gift entry by participants are in the first sub-section (Define Fundraising Options).
