Team raiser auto responder vs. donation form auto responder

The TeamRaiser autoresponder will be used for a gift that goes to a participant or team while the donation form autoresponder will be used when someone just donates to the event.

Ah Kent. You just put a new pile of work on my plate. I've been working with TeamRaiser for years and I never noticed that.

 

 

I actually had to confirm this with someone on the TR team. But I seem to recall when I was on the client side of life that I would simply take the autoresponder for a gift and paste it in the donation form autoresponder and then just change the wording to something like, "thank you for donating to [event name]".

Just to be clear though, this is only if you provide a link to donate to the event outside of donating to a team, team member or individual.
