Can you hide a team or participant from a TeamRaiser leaderboard?

Options

Hi,

Our fundraising landing page has a leaderboard for the top team and individual fundraisers. We created pages for our Board members to fundraise, but some of them are less successful using them to raise money. We want their team and individual pages to be viewable by them and all their friends, but not publically on the leaderboard. Is there any way to stop them from showing up there? Here's a link to our page.

    Sarah,

Are the BOD pages team pages or individual pages? If they are individual pages then you can go into your TR event using the "Manage" link, search for the board member and set their personal page to "Private." If a participant opts to be completely anonymous, their Personal Page will be marked as private and their name will not display on any search results, honor roll scrolls, top participant lists, team rosters, etc – basically all public facing pages will not display that participants name. However, this setting does not affect the admin / event manager’s ability to see the true name of the participant.

The BOD member who wants to be hidden should note that they will have to share the URL to their page since they won't be searchable in your event.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi there,

What about Top Team leaderboard pages (for example: http://convio.cancer.ca/site/TR?pg=teamlist&fr_id=16559 ) ?

We have Team Captains that are set as Anonymous but their full name still appears under the Team Captain column on the list of teams. Is there any way that we can hide their name from this page?

    Thanks,

    Jeric

That's interesting to see. I don't think I've ever seen a team captain set to private so I don't know the answer to this one. Let me pass around and see if one of our TeamRaiser gurus knows the answer. You may need to open a case to work through this one. Let me see what I can find out.

    Jeric,

So I was told the only way to have team captains be hidden is to hide that column with CSS or hide team captain records marked "private" with some javascript. But there is not an out of the box way to hide team captains. I know this is a tough way to accomplish this so you might post this as a feature enhancement in Ideas in the Support Portal.
