For those of you using direct mail along with your online appeal, what format is your direct mail? Are you sending a letter with a return envelope enclosed,or are you sending a postcard encouraging people to donate online?

We typically send a letter with a #9 envelope and reply card. So there are 3 pieces. We send generic letters to basic donors under 500.00. Major donors get a handsigned letter from CEO and that does make a difference. Yeah, her hand does get tired!
