photo on donation form - best practice

Options

Hi Patrick,

What's the advice about putting the same photo from the e-appeal into the donation form, and maybe some more text about how the donations have helped the child. We have 'Michael's' story in e-appeal.....Should we continue with text/pic on donation form to motivate donors to give even more?

ALSO - We are wating for a digital photo of Michael from his Mom. Can we submit it on Monday if we have to? We'll have everything else in an hour.

Thank You,

Mary

  • Hi Mary,

Yes, it is definitely good to "continue the story" from the eAppeal to the donation form. Having continuity of the visuals and the pitch text at the top of the form are the primary ways of doing that for this campaign. If you have a specific image and specific text that you've already drafted and would like to use, just include that in the special instructions you provide in your guide. Otherwise, you can provide/modify that text when we go through the testing and revisions process.

For the image you're waiting on, if you can provide a placeholder image for now (assuming the image doesn't come in), we can swap that out once you have the final image available. Having a placeholder will allow us to move forward with the build-out and testing process without delay. We do the swap out (if necessary) either during the test & revision process, or as soon as you have the image.

Thanks and we'll be keeping an eye out for your content!
