What is the best day to send a campaign email out?

I was just wondering what is the best day of the week to send the campaign email out? What statistics show the best received day of the week? I am thinking not sending on a Monday or Friday. Please let us know when you get a chance. Thanks.

You're exactly right, you want to avoid Monday and Friday. So pick from Tue, Wed or Thur.

The other day I got an email from Convio (maybe my account rep?) that shared an analysis across all Convio's clients last year, which found no statistical difference between sending your last year end appeal out any date between December 28 and 31. Unfortunately, I deleted the email before I saw this string.

I took away from it, send it on the day that works best for your operations that week.
