Recent Patch breaks GL Distributions *VENT*

We have discovered that since Patch 35 all of our GL Distributions have been broken.

On facebook there are multiple reports of this issue occuring yet status.blackbaud.com shows everything is operational.

If I have to do a manual fix to 1600 funds I am not going to be a happy camper. ?

    what do you mean by “broken”?

    If you view the gl distribution via a query it looks right but if you open a fund the debit accounts and credit accounts show completely different values.

    I opened my RE NXT fund record in database view and the GL Distribution tab is correctly showing what should be for debit and credit account number. So this is likely an isolated issue for some? check with support is best

    I am having the same issue as well….. Noticed this on Monday when I approved a batch and it would not post. I looked a random sample and noticed all the GL's were either incorrect or not compete for the funds.

    Are you self hosted? hosted by Blackbaud? on RE NXT? hosted in Blackbaud hosting center or Azure?

    I am on Azure hosted RE NXT and our fund GL Distribution is ok, the above questions will help isolate the problem for Blackbaud, but ultimately best to open a support case

    Escalate the case immediately. Involve your account executive and customer success manager. I can speak from experience that they are rarely helpful, but that is the protocol. Make a lot of noise because this is a mission-critical issue that is as absolutely unacceptable.

    The problem might not be related to the patch that was released as we are still on patch 34 but our data is magically disappearing (I have an escalated open case). We have two instances of the Raiser's Edge database view: 'PaperSave - RE7 Network Database' and 'RE7 Network Database' (which does not have PaperSave).
    This just happened and I took screen-shots because it has been happening for 3 days:
    I created a static gift query in the 'PaperSave' version and ran it through the 'Un-Post all Gifts' plug-in. Verified the gifts were all marked 'Not Posted'. Because of a completely different bug that has been going on 2+ years that Blackbaud quit attempting to fix/explain, I had to exit and sign out of the 'PaperSave' version and signed into the non-PaperSave version. Not only were the gifts back to being marked 'Posted' but the query was gone. Nonexistent. So I log back into the 'PaperSave' version and the query appears in the 'Recently Accessed Queries' but when I click on it, I get the message: "The specified record could not be found. The record has either been deleted or you do not have rights to view it." The query then disappears from the 'Recently Accessed Queries' and those gifts are all back to 'Posted' in both Raiser's Edge instances.
