Disconnecting RELO

Hello! Has anyone had the experience of disconnecting RELO, the plugin that downloads updates from Luminate into Raiser's Edge? And if so, did you run into any issues? Do you have any recommendations for disconnecting or not disconnecting the plugin? We haven't used the plugin for many years, and recently we could no longer merge records in RE that were also in Luminate. This was never an issue before and that's why we want to disconnect.     @Chris Vaz If you aren't using RELO, there is a services project needed to remove some items from the service bus, otherwise you can run into some errors (especially if you are using another service like Omatic). I'd recommend reaching out to your Customer Success Manager to get information on the process.

  • Thank you @Erik Leaver .We are in contact with our CSM and Blackbaud will be doing the disconnect. I was just wondering if there is anything else I should be aware from a customer perspective.

    Thanks for asking this! We're going to migrate away from RELO this year and it's helpful to know the step Erik described ahead of time.

  • @Kelly Bodie it was way easier than I expected. Maybe because we have not been using RELO for the longest time.
