Raiser's Edge Event Confirmation Email not working and Calendar invite is missing location

Hey there everyone,

I'm needing help on a couple of Raiser's Edge specific issues. I am currently preparing for our large annual fundraiser and am using RE as my event management tool. Folks on my team are registering for our event and they let me know that:

  1. When they complete the form and are given the option to add the event to their calendar, the location of the event is missing from the calendar invite. I have the location on the form from the back end. The Confirmation portion of the form designer does not give me the option to add the location, just the time zone. Any work arounds for this?
  2. Folks who are registering for our events are NOT receiving confirmation emails. I worked with our IT group to make sure all Blackbaud Emails are WHITELISTED but that didn't seem to fix our problem either.

We want to make sure our guests are getting the full scope of info without burning our team out with manual labor and thousands of emails. Has anyone worked with events and figured out how to fix these little kinks in the system?

    @Enidza Torres - Welcome to BB Community! I recommend you list the location within the confirmation email; as for listing the location within the downloadable calendar appointment that does not look to be possible - check out the RE NXT Idea Bank to vote for the associated ideas.

    Concerning the email deliverability issues, have your IT team check in your org's DKIM and SPF to ensure that it is correctly authenticating emails sent through BB servers as being from your domain. Here's a helpful document you can sent them:
