This position is responsible for helping to lead and drive the ongoing support and development over the constituent management systems to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity International. This individual will drive employee engagement and foster an environment where team members are accountable for delivering exceptional customer service experiences while maintaining, enhancing, and supporting existing systems and applications.

This position will be remotely based within the US.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the development and deployment of new applications, interfaces, systems, and/or enhancements to existing applications that support constituent engagement across the enterprise. This includes the CRM, online fundraising and external-facing web sites.
- Provide full lifecycle management, coordinating with teams, to design and deliver solutions across platforms and applications.
- Responsible for understanding, supporting, and enforcing business rules related to data security, system permissions, and PCI compliance.
- Responsible for application architecture, assisting in defining development and usage standards, and helping to ensure compliance with those standards as it relates to supporting constituent engagement systems.
- Lead and/or participate in the research and selection of development technologies that improve quality, reduce costs, and/or reduce development time.
- Create, maintain, promote and achieve plans and schedules for improving application quality, enhancement opportunities, and new project development that support constituent engagement.
- Partner with business units and IT personnel with regards to project requirements, deliverables, issues, status, etc.
- Manage a development team that consists of both internal and external resources supporting projects and systems in a mixed technology environment with distributed applications and partnering external organizations.
- Provides first-line supervision for team members with regards to workload, professional development, and adherence to internal policies and procedures. Includes leading staff in expending their understanding of the system’s functionality, business processes and new technical skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Understands the role each business partner plays in reinforcing our brand and business strategy, driving engagement and revenue.
- Responsible for ensuring timely and effective communication is in place with business units related to any activity associated with constituent engagement systems to ensure partnership, transparency and efficiency. Success Criteria: Indicate the metrics or other standards that will be used to measure success in this role.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Development or similar field.
- 10+ years’ work experience
- Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and delivery of application solutions.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of Microsoft development technologies including C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, XML, and Service Oriented Architecture.
- Experience managing a team development environment using source control and software project management tools. (ex. Github, Jira, Smartsheet)
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong creative, analytical, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with all levels of the organization and with technical and non-technical users.

Preferred:

- Experience with CRM Systems such as Blackbaud CRM, Luminate Online and Marketing Data Systems such as Merkle and RedPoint.
- Experience leading and managing a remote workforce.
