Is there a way to build a query based on whether or not a constituent is a sustaining giver?

I would like to build a query based on whether or not a constituent is a sustaining giver (a.k.a. recurring or monthly) giver. On a few donation forms, constituents were added to a group if they signed up for monthly giving. However, this was only on a few forms, so most of our sustaining givers were skipped. I know I can run the sustained giver report and then pull them into a group, but I would rather automate it.

Is there a field that I can pull into my query so I can create a group based on this information? For example, I want a group of current sustained givers, one for those who have never been a monthly donor, and one for those who may have started, but stopped for some reason. I went through all the options, but didn't see anything.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Alicia,

I will suggest you submit a support case to activate the fields for Sustaining Gifts in the database so that you can use it in Query Builder. The fields available are Status, Monthly Amount, Start Date, Planned Date, and Actual End Date.
