We use iDonate for our online giving platform, and as part of their suite of tools, it has Text to Give. It integrates with RE and downloads into a batch for easy gift processing.

I am looking into Text to Give but am confused.  How do you receive donor information such as name or address or do you only receive an email address and the amount of the donation?

Hi Meg,

When you text to the number, you can add a hashtag as well, you set the amount and then a quick little form lets you add a few bits more info. After that first time, it is saved for that phone and you can text again just the amount and it is done. You can also do recurring gifts through text as well. All the information is passed through to iDonate's admin tool. There is an API process that places all the information into batch in RE. It has been pretty successful here.
