Does anyone have experience with Qgiv or OneCause for event management?

Options

We are looking for a mobile platform to handle our silent/live auctions for our signature event. We would like for it to handle donations made through special appeal on event night as well. Does anyone have experience with Qgiv or OneCause? If so, can you share your experiences? If you have others that you have used that worked for you, would you share that as well?

  • Donna,

One Cause has worked very well for our staff for the past 2-3 years. The client experience couldn't be better, and all of our event donors/participants like it a lot. It's also makes post-event reconciliation very easy. The Exports coming out of One Cause require minimal formatting to import into RE. Can't recommend enough.

  • Agree with Bobby! We have used OneCause for a couple years and it has worked great. Their customer support is awesome and there is some nice functionality. My favorites are: when someone registers to bid on an item you can require a credit card and mobile number (and email of course). The credit card so if they win the bid you can charge the card directly/not have to hunt them down. The mobile number so they can get text messages if they are being outbid and/or messages you send to them - like the auction ends at midnight get your last bids in.
