Our Advancement Events team is currently manually importing event registrant data into Social Tables to work on event seating arrangements. With constantly changing event RSVPs and last minute outside input on best seating arrangements, the current process is cumbersome and error prone.

We are curious if any of you are using the Event Seating functionality in eCRM and would be willing to chat with us about your experience? We are also interested learning about other solutions you may be using for event seating needs.

    Hi Julie, we here at Brown are very interested in hearing how people are doing this as well.

    In fact, I think it would be great to have an overall HE PAG discussion on how schools are working within the events module and the various event periphery systems that are used. For example, we encounter many challenges with the limitations of the registration form so we are reliant with using 3rd-party registration tools and then trying to integrate that data back into CRM.

    I'm thinking rather than asking one of us to do a presentation on how we handle (or mishandle) events in CRM that we instead invite a handful of us to “sit” in on a discussion “panel” during the next HE-PAG meeting to take, say, 5 mins each to discuss our triumphs and tragedies with CRM/BBIS event handling. That sound like a good idea?
