Retaining formatting on Action Notes when exporting for merge

Hi everyone, I run an action list for a senior level fundraiser who doesn't use NXT. Does anyone know how to export to Excel and then merge into a Word document and retain the original formatting for Action Notes? (Actions > Notes > Notes)
All other fields come through fine, but the Action Notes come through as a single line of text with no paragraph breaks - which makes it difficult to read.

I'd initially solved this problem by using the internal merge - but since that's not an option anymore, I'm back to looking for a solution. Any ideas?

    I don't think it is possible. It would be helpful to know more of what you are trying to preserve and why. Are you having problems with percentages, postal codes, and dollar amounts? It used to be that you could set up a Word merge using an Excel source file as a dynamic data exchange. I don't even know if that feature is still available.

    Hi Jeannie, thanks for responding. I don't think it's possible either. I'm just trying to preserve the formatting of the action notes (paragraphs) and I've tried everything I can think of with no luck.
