Promoting Tributes to Offline Constituents

Options

Are any of you willing to share how you're promoting your tributes program to offline constituents?

We're a pediatric hospital with over 50,000 patient families . . . but we have less than 2,000 patient family e-mail addresses. I'm considering a postcard campaign to promote our new opportunity with the tributes program, and was just wondering if others have had success promoting via offline channels?

Any insights would be appreciated. You can e-mail me directly if you prefer, at aolsen@gillettechildrens.com

Thanks!

We are currently promoting it in buckslips in our Direct Mail program, and are thinking about testing the same type of program that you are describing (e.g. post cards). However, our main advertisements are still on the main page of our website, in direct e-mails to current constituents, search engine marketing, and (the most successful one thus far) appending the call for Tributes to the confirmation pages of donation forms and in the autoresponder messages.
