Favicon in eCRM

Options

We installed a favicon in CMS, which works on all pages except for dontations and other secure.URL pages. IS there a way to install a favicon on the eCRM side?

  • Hey Jeff,

Here is a link to a document that outlines the process for getting this setup on the eCRM side of things.

Yes, it can. We've actually got it working on our donation pages already. Quick example:

    https://secure.operationsmile.org/site/Donation2?df_id=1280&1280.donation=form1

Once it's in the ftp folder for the CRM site, it'll work on all CRM pages.

    Matt,

Our favicon.ico file is in our root folder of our server. It displays just fine outside of donation forms... but once inside a donation form we get the plan white default icon. Now what we have in our /images folder is a Convio Favicon, which is being used for the admin side of the sysytem.

    Where is your Favicon sitting?

    Thanks

We've just got it in our root folder, but we did have a problem at first with the .ico file being faulty (the editor used to create it wasn't flawless). Since we internally didn't have a great .ico editor, we had our convio consultant generate the image for us and install it. Took about 20 minutes from start to finish. You might want to shoot your rep a quick email and ask them to get it up for you, or a support ticket if it's not an immediate need.
