Tracking the Welcome Drip Emails - RE NXT vs Database View

Options

This year, we began sending a “welcome drip” email series to all our new donors. We deployed these emails through an RE NXT Workflow. Within NXT, there is an email history section on an constituent's record. This is super helpful when viewing your constituents from the NXT view.

However, our organization uses the RE database more often. Is there's a way that the email history from NXT can by synced with the records in the database view?

If not, do other people track their email engagement on a constituent's record in the database?

Hi Christy - There is no direct way to track email engagement on a constituent level in NXT; this is my primary complaint for sending emails via NXT. At a past org, I would create Constituent Lists from the Email Marketing section and then combine the responses in an outside excel doc. You could also do this method to then run an import of appeals into the system to match how OLX records the info, but this method is by no means automatic and will be very time consuming.

Unfortunately you cannot view this info in Database View. Our best solution is adding an action to the workflow noting that they received the full welcome series. But, that still doesn't show if they opened the emails etc, but at least you can then easily see from database view that they were part of the Workflow.
