Getting email addresses from offline donors

I want to create a postcard to send our offline donors asking them to provide us their email addresses, register on our site or otherwise help us to use online messaging more and save the costs of massive DR mailings.

Do you have any (creative) wording for such messages?

    I'll let others speak to exact wording suggestions, but I think that if your audience would be receptive to a green message, you could let them know that in an effort to save paper, trees, and so on that your organization would like to communicate with them via e-mail instead of US mail, and that if they sign up for this, more of their donations could go directly toward funding your important work rather than paying for printing and postage.
