Creating teams within a team

Is it possible to create teams within a team?

We would be interested in setting up something that would allow us to solicit and track donations to the overall team, individual departments and then staff members within those departments.

SPCA for Monterey County (Team)

Customer Service (Department)

- Staff Member 1 (Individual Walker)

- Staff Member 2

- ...

Spay/Neuter Clinc

- Staff Member 2

- Staff Member 2

and so on...

    This is possible via the company functionality. Teams can select a 'company' to which they belong (this langauge is editable so you can change it from 'company' to club, national team or whatever you like).

    Both are configured within "Step 4: Select Team Options" of the TeamRaiser configuration process.

    This can be manipulated to serve several functions, but can require a certain amount of head scratching / scotch drinking to get it right. Shout if you have further questions!

    Thanks for the info above. Definitely helpful.

    One question...

    It seems on Setp 4 of TeamRaiser config that you have to have pre-set divisions... that companies can't create their own? Is this true?

    Seems like companies would want to use their own division names and should have the option to create those divisions for themselves without having to contact a convio admin.
