Can the Events module be used so that supporters create their own events?

From the overview, it appears that Events can only be used for the organization to create events, and then make them available for supporters to sign up for and attend. But is there an option so that we encourage our supporters to create their own events and they submit them to us and they are made available to the public to see and attend?

Bottom line: is it for organization-created events only or can supporters create events too?

Hi Jenna,
