Recreate Feedburner RSS-to-Email With Dynamic Content and Recurring Delivery?

Options

We are building a blog-based campaign site and we would like to share the RSS feed as an email update. This is a service that Feedburner provides, but it occurred to me that perhaps Convio could do it as well.

Feedburner provides the following:

- Subscribers sign up for email notification

- When new content is posted, it is added to site’s RSS feed

- When RSS feed has new content, an email message is generated and sent to subscribers (once per day with all content added the prior day)

This system makes it easy for non-RSS-using subscribers to follow a blog and for bloggers to email their postings without extra effort.

Can Convio do something like this? It would be a great advantage to us for the following reasons:

- We prefer to manage all our email subscribers within Convio. If we have to send them elsewhere to subscribe to RSS emails, we do not maintain our info on them as donors, subscribers, etc.

- Email subscription is a well-known process for most site visitors (RSS is still making its way into their knowledge)

Can we create an email campaign that takes a RSS feed as dynamic content and then uses recurring delivery to send a message when there is new content?

I, too, would like to know if we have this sort of feature inherit in our eCRM. It would be a great asset to automate a site update RSS into dynamic emails.

    Thanks!
