What does "percent of participation" mean in the statistical reports?

    If you work for a school and have a constituent codes for alumni, parents, and friends and used a statistical report to see the number of gifts from each constituency … if your total alumni count is 8124 and 537 alumni made a gift, the percent of participation for the alumni group is 6.6% (537/8124).
